WELCOME TO MY NO DOUBT WEBSITE

This website pays homage to my favourite band in the whole world. Orange County, California's own NO DOUBT.

The band are (from left to right) Adrian Young, Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal and Tom Dumont.

As you can probably tell from the quality of this page, this is my first attempt at building a website. I'm still in the process of learning HTML, but over the coming weeks and months I hope to build this up into a class website.

As you are probably aware, there are now over a hundred sites devoted to NO DOUBT, and it is hard to do something original. I can't promise to bring you up to date news, so I'm showing you the group from my own perspective. Also, I hope that you'll take the time to give your own opinions, because I'd like to make this site interactive.

It was by accident that I discovered NO DOUBT, they were featured on the September 1996 coverdisc of Computer Shopper (a magazine here in the UK). They had TRAGIC KINGDOM reviewed on a demo of a CD-Rom magazine called BLENDER. There were eight album's reviewed, but only two were available on the demo (the other being the Cocteau Twins). Among the ones that I couldn't access was Bringing Down The Horse by The Wallflowers, another CD that I like!!!.

The No Doubt review featured loops of Just a girl & Spiderwebs.It was the first time that I'd ever heard Just a girl, and I thought WOW!!! Then luckily, a couple of weeks later whilst I was looking through the bargain bin in my local HMV, I found the cassette single of Just a girl for 99p, I couldn't pay for it quickly enough!!!! Then, Just a girl started getting a lot of airplay on The Box and when I went into HMV one Monday in October 1996 (I think!!!), this was the sight that greeted me (left). Then all that remained was to order, then buy TRAGIC KINGDOM, and the rest is history........

I'd never even seen anyone live before NO DOUBT, but that changed on the 25th September 1997. I was in the crowd at the Brixton Academy in South London, you'll be able to read my review elsewhere on this site.
